SREC-II

New Jersey's Successor Solar Incentive pays the system owner a fixed amount per megawatt-hour generated, for 15 years.

Net metering

Electricity exported to the grid is credited to your utility account.

State & utility programs

New Jersey Clean Energy and utility rebate programs may apply, depending on the address and equipment.

Lease / PPA

No upfront cost. A third party owns the system and you buy its output at a contracted rate per kWh.

On a lease or PPA the system owner claims any federal credit the system qualifies for; a homeowner does not receive that credit. Confirm your own tax position with your accountant.
