What's the difference between community solar and a third-party energy supplier?
A third-party supplier replaces the supply rate on your bill with its own, which can go up. Community solar does not change your supply at all: it adds discounted solar credits to your normal utility bill.

Many complaints about energy companies are about supplier rates that jump after an introductory period. Community solar works differently. The discount applies to the portion of your bill the solar farm covers, which is usually most of the bill but not the whole bill.
For businesses, we also compare supply rates and audit bills — we enroll more customers than anyone else in this space, and we know every detail of a utility bill, residential and commercial.
