Why do I get two bills with community solar?
Because on some projects the solar farm bills its discounted subscription charge separately from your utility. The utility bill shows the solar credit lowering what you owe; the second bill is the smaller amount you pay the farm for that credit.

Added together, the two bills come to less than you would have paid without community solar. Other projects use one combined bill. We tell you which applies before you enroll.
