How much does community solar actually save?

Your saving is the discount on the credits from the solar farm, and that discount depends on your state and utility. The discount applies to the portion of your bill the solar farm covers, which is usually most of the bill but not the whole bill.

What makes the real saving bigger or smaller

After the discount, the biggest factor is the allocation: how much of your usage the farm is sized to cover. We size your allocation from your actual 12 months of usage, and we know which farms allocate well and which do not. We are known for getting customers the best allocation.
