Is community solar worth it?

For most households, yes: community solar is free to join, nothing is installed, you keep your utility, and you can cancel at any time with no fee. You get a discount on the portion of your electric bill that a local solar farm covers.

What you give up

Nothing is installed and there is no contract fee. The only thing you do is send a copy of your electric bill so the enrollment can be submitted.

Credits appear within the next 2-3 billing cycles after your utility processes the enrollment.
